young ice hockey playerThroughout Mike Schwartz's illustrious journey, he has woven a rich tapestry of contributions in the hockey community. Drawing from over 30 years as a revered hockey coach and administrator, he has imparted knowledge at every echelon of the sport, from nurturing young talent in elementary schools to strategizing gameplays in professional arenas overseas and within the NCAA Division III. His commitment to excellence is evident in the accolades he's received, from being named Alaska State High School Coach of the Year to the College Division III National Coach of the Year. However, beyond these accomplishments, his dedication to the sport is highlighted by his consistent efforts in bolstering the community. Mike has also traveled, presenting at USA Hockey Coaching Program clinics and moderating coaching certification programs. A proud inductee of the MHSHCA Hall of Fame in 2019, Mike continues to be a vital cog in the community, contributing as a Committee Member of Hockey Day Minnesota 2023. Because of his work as a Committee Member, he was awarded the Dave Peterson Community Service award in 2023.

Outside the rink, Mike Schwartz's experience as an independent financial advisor showcases his versatility. Alongside his dedicated wife, Judy, in Woodbury, his legacy is not only enshrined in the achievements of the teams he's coached but also in the enduring impact he's happy to have had on the broader hockey community.
